My Visit to The Birmingham Museum of Art

Last weekend I took a 3 hour drive to view the exhibition, All Things Bright and Beautiful at the Birmingham Museum of Art. The exhibition features work by  African American artists such as Kerry James Marshall and Amy Sherald. The bright colors and intricate detailing of the works were captivating and I was overwhelmed with excitement. I've seen their works numerous times online, but to see them in person was awe inspiring. I plan on going again before the exhibition leaves. The art was truly captivating and stunning to admire up close.
