Visiting the Amelia Bedelia Statue in Manning, SC

In July of this year, I had the pleasure of teaching at the Savannah College of Art and Design. During one of my weekends, I traveled to Manning, SC to visit Amelia Bedelia!

As a child, I loved to collect and read the Amelia Bedelia books by Peggy Parish. When I found out that there was a statue, I knew I had to put visiting it on my bucket list. The statue is located at Harvin Clarendon County Library in Manning, where Peggy Parish was a native.
