Visiting the North Carolina Museum of Art (Photos Included)

The North Carolina Museum of Art can officially be checked off of my list of museums to visit. I actually had no idea what I was about to step into. This spur of the moment trip was a sure-fire treat! First, I had no idea that I would run into the pieces fro  Lina Iris Viktor, Michalene Thomas and Amy Sherald! There's also a new artist that I discovered, who was born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. His work is brilliant and truly mesmerizing to see. 

I hate that I didn't get to see the Golden Mummies of Egypt Exhibition, but I'm sure that I'll be back! Plus there's a large outdoor space to walk in. Until then, check out my footage from the museum:
