Visiting The Patsy Cline Museum, Nashville, TN
A couple of days ago, I had the chance to live out my dream of visiting the Patsy Cline Museum in Nashville, TN. I’m in love with Sweet Dreams, the 1985 American biographical film that tells the story of country-singer, Patsy Cline. The museum is located on the second floor of the Johnny Cash Museum building on Third Avenue South in Nashville, Tennessee.
The museum details the life and legacy of Patsy through the display of her own personal items. Visitors can view sketches of her pattern designs for her costumes, which she designed herself, along with the sewing machine that her mother used to craft them. Per the museum collection, Patsy was also an avid pen pal. She often wrote letters to her fans while touring and kept them up to date with all the happenings of her life in the studio and on the road. Her handwritten letters, including her furniture, clothing and personal photo albums give fans an intimate look into the singer’s personality and life.
Look through my photos below for a peak into the museum. But I do encourage you to visit the museum to get your very own personal experience!
